Hiring Need: Bookkeeper

Location: Rochester, New York

Experience: 2-5 years

Full time or part time

Expected Duties:

  • Data entry using QuickBooks

  • Daily accounts receivable processing

  • Weekly accounts payable processing

  • Payroll

  • General ledger

  • General office duties

  • Complete special projects as needed


Expected qualifications:

  • QuickBooks knowledge preferred but not required

  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work both independently and in a group to problem solve and improve operations

  • Must be eager to learn and take on new tasks

  • Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a professional environment

  • A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
