Marketing Coordinator

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Coordinator is to handle and manage various marketing initiatives and campaigns for Focus & current/future Focus clients.

Location: Rochester, NY

Related Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in areas related to Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, or relevant internship experience. Legal marketing preferred but not required

  • Experience managing social media for platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram

  • Experience in copywriting

  • Great writing and communication skills

  • Creative mind

  • Looking for growth

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with Adobe products such as Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Premiere Rush

  • Experience with digital marketing campaigns (email marketing, paid social media, Google Ads)

  • Photography experience

  • Experience managing virtual and in-person events

  • Experience managing and editing websites (Wix experience preferred)

  • Radio & TV experience not needed but an added benefit

 

Job Duties:

  • Budgeting and tracking for Marketing and Business Development expenses

  • Post new items to the Focus Practice Management website (and those of clients who wish to).

  • Review and recommend public relations opportunities to clients

  • Manage and curate imagery needed for advertisements, website, proposals, etc.

  • Assist with planning and coordinating webinars/events

  • Management of internal communications

  • Coordination of weekly team bonding events and marketing trainings

  • Ordering and coordinating promotional items such as giveaways for conferences, sponsorships, client gifts, company apparel, etc.

  • Managing details of sponsorships for legal, business, community, and trade organizations

  • Assist, as needed,  the planning and execution of seminars, conferences, and company hosted events, including the coordination of venues, invitations, supplies, event materials preparation, reminders, follow-up communications, speakers, food and beverage, and contracts

  • Prepare custom collateral pieces as requested/needed by clients for prospective meetings, follow-up with clients, events and our reception area

  • Develop and coordinate responses to RFPs, proposals and pitch book materials for prospective clients

  • Photograph employees for headshots and group shots

  • Represent Focus and Focus Clients at local or regional events as needed

  • Attend conferences and trade shows

  • Host marketing events
